Our client, a leading global logistics provider, is seeking a Customer Care Specialist to join their team. As a Customer Care Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Service Department supporting the Customer Care Locations team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Customer Care Specialist
**Location:** Wakefield, MA
**Pay Range: $28.90 an hour**
**Shift: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm**
**What's the Job?**
+ Ensure a positive customer experience through proactive engagement and problem resolution.
+ Maintain real-time visibility of customer transactions using AirLOG and other core systems.
+ Collaborate with sales and operational teams to develop customer-specific work instructions and continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Monitor and analyze customer KPI reports to support service excellence and corrective actions.
+ Handle escalations efficiently and ensure timely communication with all stakeholders.
**What's Needed?**
+ 3-5 years of freight forwarding or third-party logistics experience.
+ Knowledge of airfreight rules, regulations, tariffs, and pricing.
+ Strong systems competency, including MS Office, ERP, and customer management systems.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
+ Ability to work effectively under time pressures and prioritize tasks.
