Customer Account Specialist – Be the Trusted Link Between Aerospace Operations & Customers

Pay Rate: $33.19 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 1st Shift, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time Consultant (12-month contract)
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
As a Customer Account Specialist, you’ll serve as the primary liaison for commercial and military airline customers, ensuring repair orders are executed with speed, accuracy, and accountability. Your work directly supports aircraft readiness and customer satisfaction—helping keep fleets flying safely and on schedule.
What You’ll DoIn this high-visibility role, you’ll manage the full lifecycle of customer repair orders while coordinating across multiple internal teams. Key responsibilities include:
Manage repair purchase orders from acknowledgment through quoting, shipment, and invoicing
Administer and monitor contractual requirements, service levels, and delivery performance
Track asset reporting, on-time delivery metrics, and turn-time performance
Proactively prevent turn-time penalties through effective planning and communication
Serve as the primary customer liaison for assigned accounts, resolving order-related issues
Collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, Program Management, Shop Supervision, Technicians, Customer Support Managers, and Field Service teams
Communicate customer requirements and delivery status clearly and consistently
Maintain accurate documentation and reporting within SAP and other systems
Participate in scheduled A.O.G. (Aircraft on Ground) Response Team coverage, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays as required
Required QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Business or a related field
3–5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably supporting aerospace customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines
Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and customer service systems
Experience working with contracts, service metrics, and order management
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline
Prior experience in aerospace, MRO, or aviation customer support
Working knowledge of SAP and CORE tools
Experience administering contractual terms and performance requirements
Bilingual skills

Pay Details: $33.19 per hour
