**Job Title: Custodial Specialist** Job Description As a Custodial Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall condition of the building and its spaces. Your role will involve performing cleaning services according to the scope and standard operating procedures, ensuring a clean and healthy facility. Responsibilities + Perform cleaning services per scope and follow standard operating procedures. + Maintain a clean and healthy facility by mopping, vacuuming floors, dusting, deep cleaning, and disinfecting multiple surfaces and restrooms. + Appropriately dispose of waste receptacles daily, including recyclables. + Complete deep cleans, office restoration, and special projects as requested by managerial teams. + Verify the proper chemicals are used for each designated area. + Organize and upkeep janitor closets, supply storage, and cleaning equipment. + Notify management of deficiencies, safety concerns, and the need for repairs. Essential Skills + Interpersonal skills and attention to detail. + Ability to continuously stand and walk throughout the workday. + Skilled in using computer applications. + Ability to read, write, and understand documentation in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or certification preferred. + 0-2 years of experience required. + Experience in janitorial services, cleaning, and housekeeping. + Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines. + Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies. + Basic English communication skills. + Carpet cleaning experience preferred. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Ashburn, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
