Custodial Staff Part-time, Hourly POSITION SUMMARY: General cleaning and upkeep of common spaces, restrooms, service support areas, offices, banquet halls, theaters, meeting rooms, and other areas within the facility. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: + Cleaning public areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, elevators, stairs, glass railings, windows, and other general cleaning tasks as needed + General cleaning of employee areas and service support areas + Vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal in all areas + Floor maintenance including scrubbing, mopping, burnishing and other floor tasks as needed + Completing custodial checklists as necessary + Ensuring proper use and care of cleaning equipment and machines + Working with and directing work efforts of part time/temporary personnel + Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and REQUIREMENTS: + Due to the varied nature of events, availability on nights, weekends and holidays may be required + Must be able to work independently as well as direct work efforts of others + Ability to read and follow directions is a must + Ability to bend, twist and lift 25 lbs regularly is required + Must be able to follow proper work procedures and safety requirements + Ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform simple repairs is helpful
