Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Custodial Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a Custodial Maintenance Worker, you will be part of the Facilities Support Department supporting property upkeep and maintenance across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Custodial Maintenance Worker

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Pay Rate: $21.19/hr

Shift: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 6 PM, some flexibility required for specific tasks and projects

What's the Job?

Maintain the overall appearance, functionality, and readiness of offices, manufacturing areas, common spaces, and residential properties Perform custodial and upkeep tasks to support daily operations and property standards Conduct routine walkthroughs to identify cleanliness, safety, or maintenance concerns Use facility tools and equipment to support building upkeep and service needs Assist with apartment unit preparation and readiness in coordination with maintenance and property management teams

What's Needed?

Minimum of 1 year of basic handyman, maintenance, or facilities experience preferred High school diploma required Ability to read and follow work orders, instructions, and safety procedures Familiarity with facility tools, equipment, and basic maintenance practices Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites (approximately 30%)
