Job Overview

Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a CT Technologist to join our imaging team at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. This is a .8 FTE (64 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Thursday from 7PM - 3AM. This position will include NO weekends and NO call, which will allow you to enjoy a 3 day weekend!

If the majority of your allocated shift hours are worked between 11pm – 7am, your hours worked in this shift will receive an additional $8.00 per hour, on top of your base rate & shift differentials.

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist functions independently based on the boundaries of professional practice in performing all major work responsibilities. The Technologist provides services to patients and physicians through the creation of high-quality diagnostic imaging, provides quality age-appropriate patient care according to established standards of practice, and works collaboratively with all members of the health care team. The technologist is responsible for performing the responsibilities in accordance with all policy, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements (ARRT).

 

This position is eligible for a sign on bonus that is prorated based on experience.

Required Qualifications

ARRT Radiology Tech Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT)Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

1 year or more years of experience in a related rolePrevious ambulatory care experience preferred.Additional certifications in ImagingARRT CT certification or successful completion within 18 months within 1-1/2 YrsStrong interpersonal skills.
