Sentara Port Warwick, in Newport News, VA, is currently hiring a CT Technologist to work a Full Time, Weekend Night Shift. This will be a dual-modality position, with responsibilities in both X-ray and CT imaging.

Overview

Provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.  Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.

Education

Trade School Graduate  - Radiologic Technology (Required)

Certification/Licensure

ARRT or CNMT (Required)

Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire

BLS

Experience

7 - 12 months of previous CT Tech experience (Required)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$28.16 - $46.94. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
