Our client, a leader in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Critical Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Critical Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Maintenance department supporting critical facility operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Critical Facilities Technician
**Location:** Aurora, CO
**Pay Range:** $28/hr. - $31/hr.
**What's the Job?**
+ Conduct rounds and readings to ensure all sensors and temperatures in the data center are accurate.
+ Perform routine maintenance and inspections around the building to identify and address potential issues proactively.
+ Manage work orders, ensuring they are completed and closed out daily.
+ Collaborate with the resident electrician and perform preventative maintenance services.
+ Respond to emergency situations swiftly and effectively, summoning additional assistance as needed.
**What's Needed?**
+ High school diploma or equivalent; trade school training preferred.
+ 2-3 years of relevant experience in building maintenance or engineering.
+ Knowledge of general plumbing, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
+ EPA Universal certification preferred; HVAC certification is a plus.
+ Ability to lift and carry loads of 50 lbs or more.
