As an Analyst in Credit Trading, you will support the trading desk in covering institutional accounts and making markets in a range of credit products. You will assist with risk management, liquidity monitoring, and exposure analysis, contributing to pre-trade analysis, research, and strategy support. Your role is essential in evaluating market developments and providing accurate product information to the team and clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Support the trading desk in daily activities and contribute to revenue generation. Assist in analyzing market drivers, market moves, and underlying data. Demonstrate sound judgment and composure in fast-paced trading environments. Contribute to market and product analysis through both bottom-up and top-down approaches. Develop a strong understanding of relevant markets and support market-making activities. Build a foundation of trust with internal and external stakeholders by understanding their needs.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Internship or 1 year of experience in credit trading, fixed income, or a related field (sell-side or buy-side). Strong analytical and quantitative skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Eagerness to learn about bonds, credit default swaps (CDS), and cross-asset products. Client-focused mindset and willingness to support the business.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
Progress toward or completion of relevant certifications (e.g., CFA). Familiarity with financial markets and trading platforms. Exposure to regulatory requirements in trading (through coursework or internships). Ability to adapt and learn in a dynamic market environment. Initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
