Credit Markets Private Capital Solutions - Associate

Credit Markets Private Capital Solutions works with internal and external partners to deliver cutting-edge capital solutions to issuers, sponsors, and investor clients covering the entire credit spectrum from investment grade to non-investment grade. 

 

Job Summary:

As an Associate within the Credit Markets Private Capital Solutions team, you will collaborate with internal and external clients to deliver innovative capital solutions across the entire credit spectrum, from investment grade to non-investment grade.

Job Responsibilities:

Help senior team members evaluate transactions and deploy private capital (debt or equity) on a principal basis globally for Corporates in event driven, performing, acquisition financing and stressed/distressed situations.Prepare in-depth due diligence, fundamental credit analysis, financial models, pitches, and internal memos for a broad range of clients and industries.Assist senior team members in making investment decisions, managing risk, and supporting all aspects of the underwriting and transaction approval process.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Must have at least 3 years of experience in investment banking, credit risk, or financial markets.Strong fundamental credit analysis skills, with the ability to analyze a variety of industries.Must be able to analyze and value performing, stressed, distressed and special situation, event driven companies and investment instrumentsAbility to build complex financial models and identify comparable.Understanding of the evolving private capital ecosystem.Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well with colleagues in a fast-paced environment.Conduct thorough due diligence and underwriting processes.Manage the process from origination to closing, ensuring timely execution and adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.Negotiate terms and draft comprehensive term sheets.Develop and maintain relationships with internal  and external stakeholders, identifying opportunities and appraising new opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Entrepreneurial drive with strong analytical and quantitative skills.CFA qualification is not required but would be a plus.Previous exposure to credit agreements and negotiation is a plus.
