As a Credit Documentation Associate within the Credit Product Delivery team, you will contribute to Global Banking's dedicated lending and trade finance execution support function. You will play a key role in providing a superior client experience by ensuring timely, client-focused service while maintaining a robust risk and control framework. Collaborating with regional and global teams, you will help deliver consistent service across J.P. Morgan’s Corporate & Investment Bank. Your responsibilities will include supporting Bankers and Trade Sales, and working closely with business partners across Credit, Legal, Compliance, and line of business operations to deliver a client-focused support model and seamless execution.
Job responsibilities
Partner with and support business partners across Global Banking, Credit Risk, Product, Legal and line of business operationsDrive the end-to-end transaction execution process across support teams ranging from front office (including Credit Risk, Bankers, Sales) to back office (including Documentation, Collateral and core transaction processing teams) providing leadership, transparency and accountabilityDeliver best-in-class credit documentation processes including managing the preparation, negotiation and execution of credit/ product agreements, security creation, security perfection, deal closing process, ownership of sourcing and reviewing client constitutional documents and conditions precedentManage controls framework, reporting and escalation for transaction execution, including preparing and coordinating documentation deviations and approvals during negotiationsWork with Business and Technology partners in setting priorities within the competing business strategiesWork across functional areas to ensure all operational, financial and technology risks have been addressedCollaborate with local regulators to not only meet but exceed the growing demands for data submission, processing requirements, and reporting transparency, including but not limited to CIC reporting.Manage relationship and partnership with the Business, Technology and Corporate groupsHandle multiple tasks and changing priorities with flexibility, effective decision-making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to resolutionDeliver value-added support to business partners and clients in a dependable, timely and accurate manner
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or other related disciplines with 6 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in either Credit and Transaction Management, Credit Execution, Front Office, Credit or Legal documentation space.Strong PC skills in Microsoft Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) requiredDetail-oriented and highly organized, able to handle multiple competing priorities.Flexible and willing to accept changes in business priorities and challenges in a rapidly changing environment.Creative thinker with strategic mindset, strong decision-making capabilities, and ability to structure and scope complex problems, apply a range of analytical tools, gain and synthesize findings and develop solution.Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Fluency in English and Vietnamese is required to liaise with stakeholders from Vietnam
