Credit And Collections Supervisor
Position Overview: We are looking for a proactive and analytical Credit & Collections Supervisor to lead our credit approval and collection efforts for construction-related accounts. This role is essential in managing financial risk, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and industry regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, industry expertise, and a collaborative mindset to drive results and support business operations. Key Responsibilities: + Oversee the credit evaluation process by reviewing financial statements, credit reports, and payment histories to assess risk and establish appropriate credit limits. + Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize delinquency and maximize recovery of outstanding receivables. + Partner with project managers, finance, and billing teams to resolve invoicing issues and ensure timely, accurate billing. + Lead, mentor, and support a team of collections professionals, promoting a high-performance culture and continuous development. + Ensure adherence to company credit policies and relevant regulatory requirements, including updates to procedures as needed. + Prepare and present regular reports on credit risk, collections performance, and account status to senior management. Qualifications: + Minimum of 5 years of experience in credit and collections, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. + Strong understanding of construction finance, billing practices, and project-based accounting. + Knowledge of lien laws, construction contracts, and related legal frameworks. + Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. + Proficiency in accounting and ERP systems, preferably SAP. + Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions under pressure. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $42.00 - $48.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
