Credit Analyst
Job Title: Credit Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Credit Analyst responsible for managing overall credit performance for new and existing customer accounts. In this role, you will analyze and review accounts and orders to identify potential credit risks and minimize excessive past due AR transactions. The credit analyst will also establish and cultivate effective business relationships within internal departments to resolve customer credit issues.

Responsibilities

Effectively manage credit research and establish appropriate credit lines using various methods including Dunn & Bradstreet, prior payment experiences, and internet research.Evaluate credit risk status, credit limits, and credit terms for active customer accounts, and monitor them on an ongoing basis.Read and understand contracts to determine customers, end users, owners, and true credit exposure, as well as contractual payment terms.Provide weekly and monthly high-level Excel reporting to management.Assist the Credit Admin with building credit files, validating references, and serving as backup.Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Skills

3+ years of credit analysis experienceHigh level of Microsoft Excel experience (pivot tables, reporting, V-LOOK UP)Experience using Dunn & Bradstreet (D&B)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree is a plusExperience using Equifax is a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $36.00/hr.
