Credit Analyst
Requirements: + Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, finance, or economics. + Five or more years' experience in C & I lending and/or analysis. + Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, economics, and general business acumen. Thorough knowledge of standard C&I facility structures used to address various borrowing purposes and repayment sources. + Experience analyzing financial statements of moderate to high complexity and accumulating data to support credit decisions. + Experience at calculating corporate and personal cash flows and financial ratios with great accuracy. + Experience at preparing thorough and well-reasoned loan presentations that clearly communicate the pertinent details of each request, accurately represent the credit risks involved, and persuasively lead the reader to a conclusion. + Experience engaging in conversations with borrowers that may sometimes include difficult questions or sensitive topics while remaining relationship focused and striving for customer satisfaction. + Strong ability to interpret financial or non-financial information, borrower interviews, and various third-party inputs for the purpose of identifying credit risk. + Strong ability to use deductive and inductive reasoning, draw well-reasoned conclusions, and defend the conclusions with quantitative and qualitative facts. + Able to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks independently.
