**Position Summary**
The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the credentialing and recredentialing processes for healthcare providers who are joining, or already participating in the network. This role ensures that all providers meet regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements, and that all credentialing activities are completed timely and accurately. The specialist maintains Credentialing systems and works closely with providers to verify qualifications including education, training, licenses, certifications, work history, and other essential business and credentialing requirements.
**Required Qualifications**
+ 1-3 years healthcare provider credentialing experience
+ Knowledge of CAQH, NPDB, EPDB
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Effective written and verbal communication
+ Ability to learn new systems/programs quickly
**Education**
High School Diploma or equivalent

**Pay Range**
The typical pay range for this role is:
$18.50 - $42.35
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
