Amazon's Reputation Marketing & Insights (RMI) team is seeking an experienced, agile, and tech-forward Creative Lead to define and drive the creative direction for high-impact advertising campaigns that shape how the world sees Amazon. You will lead concept development and execution across digital, video, social, out-of-home, and emerging formats—using AI and new technology to accelerate creative exploration and production. In this role, you will collaborate with senior leaders, mentor creative talent, and raise the bar on work that is strategically grounded, visually distinctive, and built to influence how people see Amazon.
You will set an ambitious creative bar that inspires and challenges our in-house and external creative partners, mentoring talent while guiding work from early concept to polished execution. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders—including Directors and VPs across Communications, Marketing, Legal, and the business—to bring to life original, strategically grounded creative that builds meaningful connections with our audiences.
You will bring a forward-thinking mindset to creative exploration, understanding how to thoughtfully integrate new technologies, like AI, to amplify (not replace) human creativity and craft. Success in this role is measured by consistent the caliber of work that influences perception and deepens understanding of Amazon's role in the world.
Key job responsibilities
Define and direct the creative vision for perception-shifting campaigns across digital, social, video, out-of-home, and experimental channels.
Collaborate with external and internal creatives to bring ideas to translate ideas into compelling creative platforms that resonate with a range of audiences.
Use technology, e.g., AI, to accelerate concept development, visual storyboarding, and motion treatments—generating high-fidelity options for informed, data-driven decision-making.
Partner closely with senior stakeholders to ensure creative solutions align with strategic priorities, audience insights, and brand reputation goals.
Direct creative disciplines outside your primary area of expertise.
Mentor mid-level creatives and marketing colleagues, fostering tech experimentation, conceptual rigor, and production craft across the team.
Lead creative presentations to Directors and VPs, articulating not only what the work is, but why it works
Collaborate with producers, editors, and external production companies to integrate assets into final production, ensuring quality and brand safety.
Identify and champion opportunities to test emerging creative formats—such as synthetic video, interactive media, and dynamic creative optimization.

Reputation Marketing & Insights is a team within Amazon's Communication & Corporate Responsibility organization that focuses on telling Amazon's story to key audiences. We elevate truths about our brand. We meet our audiences where they are and go deep on channel-specific creative. We build marketing plans that persuade our core audiences through best-in-class media tactics and measurement methodology that enables us to optimize towards the principles and platforms that achieve real-world outcomes. Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in creative direction, art direction, or concept development in advertising, brand, or content marketing.
- Proven success leading creative work that influenced brand perception at scale.
- Strong conceptual thinking with a portfolio showing both creative originality and executional craft across channels.
- Hands-on experience using GenAI tools in the creative process.
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders (Director/VP level).
- Strong skills in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; able to direct work across formats with exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in public affairs, reputation marketing, or corporate storytelling.
- Enthusiasm for experimenting with emerging creative technologies and formats.
- Ability to work across U.S. campaigns while contributing to global creative initiatives.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
