Creative Director - Art/Design Direction, Global Studio (Prime)
Description We are looking for a design leader and creative mind to lead our Global Studio in driving a consistent brand vision for the Amazon Prime brand globally. This design lead role falls under Amazon Prime’s central brand design team, bringing exceptional ideas with a high level of craft to global and partner teams. Key job responsibilities The Prime Brand design team is looking for an experienced creative who has experience leading the conceptualization and execution of bold, global cross channel campaigns. This role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day creative, while helping shape the long-term direction of the brand. The ideal candidate brings a strong visual background, a passion for world-class creative, great design sensibility and a proven track record of delivering standout work across channels. The ideal candidate works fast, can quickly discern the needs of a project, and responds to creative briefs with fresh ideas and strategic thinking. They are a design thinker, motivated to develop the best solution for every challenge, regardless of scope, length or budget. They professionally present their work, with enthusiasm for both inspired creative and logical thinking. They have experience working across multiple marketing channels and understand the complexities and creative implications of a global brand. The ideal candidate will be expected to effectively interpret creative briefs, and develop bar-raising creative for campaigns and onsite experiences across all of Prime and its benefits. They are a problem solver with strong bias for action and with an entrepreneurial spirit of constantly looking to develop practices to harness new ways of thinking. They work well under pressure, are always ready to roll up their sleeves and are also comfortable directing other creatives/designers to execute at a high bar to quickly develop work that spans across digital platforms, broadcast, print, out of home and social channels. They are comfortable leading brainstorms and collaborating with our team of designers, motion designers, writers, program managers and creative directors, as well as working with a network of producers, directors, and marketing professionals to deliver exceptional brand experiences and system to be seen by millions of customers world-wide. Basic Qualifications - 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience - Bachelor's degree Preferred Qualifications - A portfolio demonstrating systematic brand and identity development scaling across multiple touch points. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
