Overview

Construct and assemble sturdy wooden crates for export use

Measure, cut, and prepare lumber and plywood using table saws, miter saws, and skill saws

Safely operate nail guns and staple guns to fasten materials

Block and brace containers, flat racks, and oversized cargo for shipping

Review work instructions, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy

Maintain consistent quality while meeting deadlines and production goals

Follow all safety procedures and keep the work area organized

Operate a 6K/15K/36K sit-down forklift if certified (preferred but not required)

Skills and Experience Solid background in carpentry, crate building, or woodworking

Skilled in the use of hand tools and power equipment

Knowledge of proper cargo blocking and bracing techniques

Ability to read measurements accurately and follow detailed instructions

Reliable, safety-minded, and able to handle physical work

Forklift certification a plus
