**Job Title: Crane Technician** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team in Fort Worth as a Crane Technician, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and inspecting cranes used in manufacturing and production environments. This position demands independence from day one, requiring a solid background in mechanical and electrical systems with a minimum of five years of experience. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists. + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment. + Support customers by effectively interfacing with them and the office to repair equipment as needed. + Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers. + Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements. + Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to repair calls. + Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists. + Build and maintain customer confidence by ensuring timely responses, informing customers of problems, and completing jobs efficiently. + Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas. + Ability to fabricate and weld structures. **Essential Skills** + Crane inspection + Overhead crane expertise + Electrical knowledge, including 3-phase systems + Pneumatics + Troubleshooting + Electrical maintenance + Mechanical skills + People skills for customer interaction + Schematic understanding + Welding and fabrication + Mechanical troubleshooting + Hydraulics and pneumatics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to travel weekly, leaving on Monday and returning on Thursday + Comfortable climbing up to cranes + Well-versed in industry practices **Why Work Here?** Become part of one of the largest and most diversified overhead crane and hoist distribution, manufacturing, and service companies in the United States, founded in 1932. The team consists of up to 10 Crane Technicians. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Haltom City, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
