Crane Technician
**Job Title: Crane Technician** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team in Fort Worth as a Crane Technician, where you will play a vital role in maintaining and inspecting cranes used in manufacturing and production environments. This position demands independence from day one, requiring a solid background in mechanical and electrical systems with a minimum of five years of experience. **Responsibilities** + Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect overhead cranes and hoists. + Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment. + Support customers by effectively interfacing with them and the office to repair equipment as needed. + Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs for customers. + Maintain rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements. + Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to repair calls. + Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists. + Build and maintain customer confidence by ensuring timely responses, informing customers of problems, and completing jobs efficiently. + Maintain professional presentation, timeliness, appearance, and organization in all areas. + Ability to fabricate and weld structures. **Essential Skills** + Crane inspection + Overhead crane expertise + Electrical knowledge, including 3-phase systems + Pneumatics + Troubleshooting + Electrical maintenance + Mechanical skills + People skills for customer interaction + Schematic understanding + Welding and fabrication + Mechanical troubleshooting + Hydraulics and pneumatics **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to travel weekly, leaving on Monday and returning on Thursday + Comfortable climbing up to cranes + Well-versed in industry practices **Why Work Here?** Become part of one of the largest and most diversified overhead crane and hoist distribution, manufacturing, and service companies in the United States, founded in 1932. The work involves 50% indoor and 50% outdoor environments, with facilities primarily focused on manufacturing. The team consists of up to 10 Crane Technicians. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Haltom City, Texas. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $93600.00/yr.
