Job Title: Crane Service Technician
Job Description

This position involves servicing industrial trucks both in a shop and in the field. You will work primarily on cranes, utilizing hydraulic and electrical experience. Your main tasks will include diagnostics, minor welding, and repairs, with focus on connectors and compressors. The role is centered around service and repairs, with no chassis, engine, or transmission work.

ResponsibilitiesConduct diagnostics using laptops when trucks arrive to identify issues.Repair hoses and work on aerials, pivots, and booms from the cab back.Perform on-the-fly repairs on hydraulics and electrical components in the field.Service cranes including Manitex and IMT models.Gradually advance from shop mechanic to field service mechanic, which includes road travel from Monday to Friday.Essential SkillsHydraulic and electrical experience.Troubleshooting and schematic skills.Crane inspection and repair expertise.Ability to work with hand tools and perform wiring and assembly.Basic mechanical and electrical blueprint reading.Additional Skills & QualificationsMinor welding and fabrication skills are beneficial but not required.Comfortable working in tight positions and on feet for entire shifts.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work both in a shop and in the field, operating from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Expect travel within surrounding states and flexibility to support a work-life balance.

This is a Permanent position based out of Fargo, North Dakota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $72800.00/yr.
