**Job Title: Crane Service Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Crane Field Technician to handle the inspection, maintenance, installation, and repair of overhead lifting systems. This role is customer-facing and requires a high level of technical expertise, professionalism, and a commitment to safety and service excellence.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install and configure overhead crane and hoist systems.
+ Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
+ Conduct safety inspections per OSHA-equivalent standards.
+ Execute preventive maintenance tasks.
+ Interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
+ Document service activities and equipment status.
+ Maintain and operate service tools, equipment, and vehicles.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Experience with 480V systems and motors.
+ Ability to perform preventive maintenance.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with cranes and hoist equipment is preferred.
+ Technical schooling is a nice-to-have.

$25 - 45/hour
1.5x pay after 40 hours
2x pay on Saturdays/Sundays

**Work Environment**
This is a mobile role involving travel to manufacturing companies, foundries, and steel mills to service cranes.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Permanent position based out of Forest Lake, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $93600.00/yr.
- 2x pay on Saturday/Sunday (rare weekend work)
- Yearly performance reviews, tuition reimbursement; 15-20% growth annually (which is why they’re hiring)
- Mentor program, ride shotty for 1-6 months depending on experience
- Can take truck home
**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Forest Lake,MN.
