**Job Title: Crane Operator** Job Description We are seeking to add two skilled Overhead Crane Operators to our team due to a significant increase in production. The Overhead Crane Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy steel materials and equipment within a heavy industrial environment. This role requires a strict adherence to safety protocols and the ability to work closely with ground crews and supervisors. Responsibilities + Operate overhead cranes to lift, transport, and position steel products and materials. + Follow hand signals, radio instructions, or written/verbal directions from ground personnel. + Inspect cranes and lifting gear daily for defects or malfunctions. + Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on crane equipment. + Ensure loads are properly secured and within crane capacity limits. + Maintain accurate logs of crane operations and maintenance activities. + Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate safe lifting operations. + Adhere to all OSHA and company safety regulations and procedures. + Be willing to work on the floor and assist where needed, not just operate the crane. Essential Skills + Proficiency in operating overhead cranes in a heavy industrial environment. + Experience with maintenance and repair of crane equipment. + Strong communication skills for coordination with ground personnel. + Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and procedures. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $59550.40 - $59550.40/yr.
