Job Title: Crane Operator

Job Description

As a crane operator, you will begin your journey by receiving comprehensive training for the first few weeks. This training involves learning about inventory locations, shadowing your trainer, and familiarizing yourself with color codes for steel placement in the warehouse. Additionally, you will receive training on crane operation based on your previous experience.

ResponsibilitiesWalk for 8-10 hour shifts, covering approximately 8 miles per day in an indoor/outdoor role.Operate both indoor and outdoor cranes, while being comfortable with exposure to the elements.Engage in housekeeping duties associated with the role.Learn to pull beams, load flatbed trailers and railcars, including rigging and getting onto the backs of flatbeds.Receive inventory, move materials to loaders via overhead crane, and fill out shipping reports and bills of lading.Essential SkillsHeavy industrial or construction experience is required.Ability to read a tape measure, verified through testing or references.Proficiency in learning and retaining information based on color, as inventory and coding systems use painted beam ends.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
