Crane Inspector
Location: Kansas City, MO
Summary:
Custom Truck One Source has openings for a highly qualified and motivates Crane Technician. This position will primarily focus on the testing and inspection of new truck mounted construction cranes, buckets, and diggers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
always Maintain a safe work environment.Perform annual crane, bucket and digger inspections and certifications.Perform any other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or the equivalent.Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.Excellent communication skills.Experience in the repair of truck mounted crane products, buckets and diggers. Should be Familiar with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems on craneMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment.Must have a valid driver's license. CDL preferredNational/Manitowoc/Terex/Altec/Grove experience and training a plusBasic computer knowledge preferredMust have own hand toolsMust be able to work overtime and some SaturdaysAttention to detail and must possess a strong work ethicExperience reading and interpreting parts lists, manufactures repair Manuals, diagrams and electrical schematicsMaintain accurate recordsMust be able to read and understand crane load charts
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Ability to use carts, forklifts, hand truck, pallet, jack and equipment of such natureFrequent lifting of 60-100 poundsAbility to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per dayExposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes.Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
