Courier & Customer Service Specialist
Job Title: Courier / Customer Service Associate Job Summary

The Courier / Customer Service Associate is responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery and pickup of packages throughout the client campus while providing excellent customer service. This is a physically active, driving-based role that requires reliability, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and pick up packages across the client campus in a timely and accurate manner

Provide friendly, professional customer service to clients and staff

Safely operate a company van or a tragon with trailer

Use company-issued iPhone and technology for tracking, receiving, and shipping operations

Scan, log, and verify packages during delivery and pickup

Follow all safety, traffic, and company policies and procedures

Communicate effectively with dispatch and campus contacts regarding deliveries

Physical Requirements

Walk up to approximately 5 miles per day

Lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds

Perform frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and reaching

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Ability to operate a company vehicle and trailer (training provided if needed)

Strong customer service and communication skills

Comfortable using smartphone technology and shipping/receiving applications

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Work Environment

Physically active, campus-based delivery setting

Combination of indoor and outdoor work

Fast-paced, customer-focused role

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands

Frequent exposure to copier/fax machine noise, toner, temperature changes, and potential paper cuts from handling paper and opening boxes

Exposure to various weather conditions when walking between buildings

Operation around equipment that may present opportunities for injury or accidents

Daily in-person and telephone contact with customers, employees, managers, and dispatch; occasional contact with vendors and equipment repair personnel

Work under tight deadlines and quick turnaround times, which may result in elevated stress levels

Physical effort including prolonged standing, walking, bending, reaching, stretching, climbing, lifting items up to 50 lbs, and pushing or pulling wheeled equipment weighing up to 400 lbs for repairs

Walking between buildings may be required
