Our client, a leading HVAC wholesale distributor, is seeking a Counter Sales-HVAC to join their team. As a Counter Sales-HVAC, you will be part of the sales department supporting customer engagement and satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong retail sales experience, and a customer-focused mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Counter Sales-HVAC
**Location:** Elmsford, NY
**Pay Range:** $22.00-$25.00/hr.
**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm & Some Saturdays 8:00am-12:00pm
**Temp-Perm Opportunity**
**What's the Job?**
Must have HVAC knowledge/sales experience
+ Promptly assist customers at the counter, providing information and taking orders.
+ Conduct yourself in a professional and ethical manner at all times, treating customers and associates with respect.
+ Perform data entry on the computer system, including customer orders and inventory management.
+ Answer telephones professionally, assisting customers and resolving any issues they may have.
+ Continuously update product knowledge to meet customer needs effectively.
**What's Needed?**
Must have HVAC knowledge/sales experience
+ Strong retail sales experience with a focus on customer service.
+ Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
+ Proficiency in retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
+ Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus.
