About our property:

What you will have an opportunity to do:

We are looking for a highly motivated, and customer focused to join our team as a Retail associate!  This individual will be responsible for generating revenue and sales transactions through excellent product knowledge and providing excellent customer service with prompt service, as well as maintaining a fun, clean, and comfortable store environment.  They will be working closely with different members of our team, so they will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude.

The Gift Shop Clerk is responsible for professional guest interaction always adhering to our Pyramid Global Core Commitments.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION

Carry out the policies and procedures of Benchmark Hospitality at Stonewall Resort while maintaining the highest degree of professionalism and teamwork atmosphere as per standards of service. Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Perform all duties in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies. Perform opening and closing procedures for retail shop. Collect all monies and charges for retail merchandise. Complete all accounting paperwork for all sales transactions. Assist with merchandising products. Ensure proper stocking of merchandise. Flexibility to work a varied schedule due to business levels and industry demand.  Maintain elevated levels of sanitation and safety throughout the work area. Give clear and concise directions to various locations in the resort. Answer guest questions using excellent customer service skills. Must be well groomed, with a nametag at all times while working on the property. Must be well-mannered, always display a helpful attitude, greet guests when encountered, show appreciation to the guest for being at the resort, show willingness to help guests and employees at all times. Provide assistance in other job classifications as determined necessary by immediate superior.

What are we looking for?

Must be service oriented and provide excellent customer service.  Ability to interact well with others.

Able to accurately handle cash. Must have retail experience.  Must have the ability to lift and move 10-25 lbs. daily.  Communicate effectively and respectfully with all other co-workers and resort guests.

Ability to use point of sale computer system.  Must be prompt and dependable.
