JOB SUMMARY:

Manages the Drop and Count operations for Lake Tahoe properties

 

KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:

· Plans, directs and coordinates the property’s Count Room functions to provide accountability and control of funds.

· Ensures the security of Count Room operations.

· Maintains full compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state regulations relating to the Count Rooms.

· Submits reports required by the state and Internal Audit.

· Instruct personnel in safety policies and procedures.

· Trains, counsels and coaches assigned personnel in the performance of their duties; prepares and presents Performance Appraisal Reviews for them.

· Recommends and/or approves changes in the department, including hiring, promotion, demotion and termination of personnel. Recommends wage and salary adjustments within established guidelines.

· Maintains professional skills by staying abreast of current technical developments and participation in developmental programs available within and outside the company.

· Ensures equipment in Count Rooms is always in good operating condition.

· Interacts, coordinates and maintains communications with all departments connected to the drop and count process.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· High School Diploma or equivalent. College preferred

· One to three years of drop, coinwrap, counting, cash handling or related field

· One year supervisory experience; one year budget preparation and management experience

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Leadership skills

· Attention to detail

· PC literate

· Excellent math skills

· Multi-tasking abilities in a rapidly changing environment

· Proficiency in scheduling

· English verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to perform all Count Room functions performed by Count Room Representatives, Leads, and Supervisors.

· Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

· Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same.

· Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

 

 

 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL and ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

· Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds

· Ability to lift drop boxes to countertop/surveillance camera height

· Ability to work in a small area with the same people for extended periods of time

· Mobility to move quickly

· Ability to stand for long periods of time

· Ability to reach, grasp, bend, squat, push-pull

 

Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
