Job Description – CM (Civil)
Role Purpose
We have an exciting opportunity for Civil professional (specialization in Quantity surveying & Commercial support) to join our growing Cost Management team, a friendly, professional and dynamic group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting managers to drive service excellence and deliver exceptional client outcomes through advanced technical expertise, sound commercial knowledge, and deep understanding of cost and value drivers. You will capture and share knowledge while championing innovation in service delivery methodologies. What this job involves
Tender Management
Support in vendor pre-qualification
Prepare tender documentation including scope definition and specifications
Response to Vendor queries / RFI’s
Quantity Surveying & Cost Management
Provide comprehensive support to Team Leaders and Service Leaders in delivering real estate developments with day-to-day responsibility and minimal supervision
Take ownership of small to medium-sized projects or significant components of larger Cost Management assignments
Interpret client briefs and senior management direction to develop effective delivery plans
Deliver all work outputs accurately and on time while maintaining highest quality standards
Conduct accurate Quantity take-offs from design information at all project stages
Support in develop comprehensive BOQs for local and international APAC projects
Apply civil construction methodology knowledge to minimize errors
Preparation of RFIs and communicate to Leaders.
Process Excellence & Innovation
Utilize and embed JLL best practice tools, processes, and technology to enhance service delivery
Capture and share knowledge while actively contributing to service improvement and innovation initiatives
Desired skills & Experience
Essential Requirements
Minimum 5 years quantity surveying experience with strong engineering background.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field
Proven experience in tender documentation, evaluation, and management
Advanced quantity take-off and cost estimation expertise
Technical & Professional Skills
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency, preferably CostX software
Understanding of international standards (MasterFormat, NRM, POMI, CESMM)
Excellent communication, report writing, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively
Preferred Experience
Asia-Pacific region and international project exposure
Commercial/industrial building services background
Team management and mentoring experience
