Job Description My client is looking for a cost engineer to join their new federal demolition project in Washington DC. This person will be joining a team of 3 (4 total) with an estimator, scheduler, and cost manager also on board. Their day to day responsibilities will include assisting in all cost and change management for the project - negotiating with contractors, attending internal and client meetings, helping to process change forms and make necessary adjustments to schedule and budget. This is a hybrid role where 3 days/week will be onsite. Skills and Requirements - Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of relevant work experience in construction cost and change management OR 4+ years of that relevant experience (can be a APM from a electrical/mechanical subcontractor, project engineer or APM from GC, or work at an engineering firm like Parsons, Jacobs, etc. - know the difference between merit and entitlement on a construction jobsite - previous federal project experience
