We are seeking a skilled accountant with direct responsibility for all financial reporting, including complex inventory valuation methodologies, elimination and consolidation processes, income tax accounting and reporting, and accounting processes.
ResponsibilitiesInterface with Operation Departments to establish achievable standard costs by reviewing vendor quote information and labor times and materials entered in Bills of Manufacture (BOMs).Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections, payroll, perpetual inventory integrity, fixed asset records, general accounting, and inventory.Oversee the daily cash and banking activities.Prepare month-end closing and journal entries as necessary, and analyze inventory valuation.Perform monthly accounts and bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to maintain financial integrity and maintenance of company-wide depreciation expenses.Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis and not subject to penalties.Conduct monthly material, labor, and overhead variance analysis.Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy in transactions.Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.Have direct responsibility for working with external auditors, including preparing the annual audited financial report and overseeing all workpaper preparation.Analyze cost variances (material, labor, and overhead) and provide actionable insights into operations and management.Ensure that payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner.Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $45.67/hr.
