Cost Accountant
Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our finance team within the dynamic telecom industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and controlling costs, preparing cost reports, and supporting strategic financial decisions to optimize operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, documents, and records.Analyze production costs, telecom infrastructure expenses, and service delivery costs.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management review.Monitor and report on cost variances and recommend corrective actions.Collaborate with operations, procurement, and engineering teams to understand cost drivers.Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, especially related to network expansion and service deployment.Conduct margin analysis and support pricing strategies for telecom products and services.Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.Support audits and provide documentation as required.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred).3+ years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the telecom or technology sector.Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Skills:Experience with telecom-specific cost structures (e.g., network infrastructure, spectrum licensing, service provisioning).Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as FCC, Ofcom, or similar.Knowledge of project accounting and capital expenditure tracking.Why Join Us?Be part of a forward-thinking telecom company driving innovation in connectivity.Competitive compensation and benefits.Opportunities for professional growth and development.Collaborative and inclusive work culture.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
