A global leader in life sciences is seeking a Cost Accountant/Analyst to join their team. This role provides timely, accurate financial insights to support data-driven decision-making and optimize spending across support functions. \nThe cost accountant will provide financial review and analytical support across designated business units or functional areas. This role is critical in delivering timely, accurate financial insights to support data-driven decision-making and strategic planning.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nServe as the primary financial partner for operations, evaluating the cost impact of changes in manufacturing processes.\nCollaborate with Supply Chain to analyze inventory variances and develop strategies to meet financial targets.\nSupport monthly financial reviews, including variance analysis and performance reporting.\nAssist in the development of annual budgets and periodic financial projections.\nProvide financial support for daily operations and ad hoc business initiatives.\nMaintain and enhance financial systems used for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.\nSupport the evaluation and management of capital expenditure projects.\nPrepare ad hoc reports and perform special assignments as needed.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).\n4+ years of experience in finance or accounting, including cost accounting.\nMinimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment.\nCMA is highly preferred.\nExperience with a large ERP.\nAdvanced skills in Excel.\n\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nProven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\nAdvanced analytical and problem-solving skills.\nSolid understanding of accounting principles and financial modeling.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nSelf-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $47.00/hr.
