The Social Impact Integration team defines and maintains the firmwide operating system for JPMorgan Chase’s social impact agenda. The team establishes the structures, processes, standards, and oversight routines that enable business, market, and functional teams to deliver against the firm’s impact priorities.
As a Vice President on the Social Impact Integration team, you will help design and operate this infrastructure — connecting impact priorities to U.S. business strategy, supporting disciplined management routines, and ensuring senior leaders have the clarity, insight, and alignment needed to execute through their own organizations. The role blends strategic thinking, operational discipline, governance design, and executive-level communication to ensure that the enterprise has the operating model required for successful delivery by the businesses and corporate functions. Requires comfort operating in ambiguity while driving clarity and results.
Job Responsibilities
Translate high-level firmwide impact priorities into structured workplans, milestones, dependencies, timelines and frameworks that guide Lines of Business, markets, and corporate functions in their execution — without owning execution itself. Support the development and ongoing management of the firm’s social impact operating model, including charters, templates, decision logs, workplans, and coordination mechanisms. Prepare and manage oversight processes that assess progress, surface issues, track decisions, and inform senior-leadership review cycles (monthly, quarterly, annual). Supports execution driving process for decisions, actions, ownership, deadlines, and escalation paths. Partner with impact pillar teams, market leaders, Strategy, Corporate Responsibility, and functional partners to clarify roles, align expectations, and ensure execution teams have the cross-functional support and structure required to deliver outcomes. Develop standards, guidance, templates that help senior leaders understand performance, risks, execution gaps, and market or strategic implications Coordinate across Lines of Business and Corporate Functions to ensure issues are resolved, dependencies are identified, and the right teams are engaged, while maintaining clear ownership with business and functional leads. Develop executive-ready presentations, briefs, and synthesis materials for the Social Impact Forum and senior leadership meetings. Support the management and tracking of social impact commitments, disclosures, and external statements originating at the Social Impact Forum. Monitor peer practices and external trends to strengthen the firm’s impact operating model and inform continuous improvement.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
7+ years of experience in external or in-house management consulting, social impact governance, social impact strategy, change management / transformation, program management / governance, or other fields that involve complex cross-functional integration. Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems, develop frameworks, and influence across a matrixed environment. Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to craft executive-ready presentations and synthesize complex material clearly. Demonstrated ability designing and running centralized project management offices and governance frameworks. Ability to lead multi-stakeholder processes without direct authority and maintain clarity on roles, boundaries, and decision rights. High proficiency in analytical reasoning; ability synthesize nuance from senior level discussions into clear direction, translate data and insights into structured implications for senior leadership. Strong organizational skills, exceptional execution, discipline, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Prior proven experience contributing to operating-model or governance-structure design. Experience in a global financial institution or similarly complex, regulated environment. Familiarity with community development, economic mobility, corporate responsibility, or place-based strategies. Experience working with Legal, Risk, Communications, Finance, Sustainability, and other second-line or enterprise-control functions.
