Job Title: Quality Inspector

Job Description

As a Quality Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness and safety of specific model aircraft by conducting thorough inspections and maintenance checks. You will work closely with Quality Leadership to adhere to general work requirements and ensure all aircraft maintenance documentation is accurate and compliant with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Adhere to General Work Requirements in coordination with Quality Leadership.Research and capture all maintenance program requirements, including Inspection Program, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and Instructions for Continued Airworthiness.Conduct on-aircraft inspections to establish accurate aircraft configuration.Organize maintenance requirements into comprehensive reports for customers.Support Quality Inspectors by performing Quality Inspector duties and returning aircraft to service as requested.Ensure accurate documentation of work packages, maintenance records, and regulatory paperwork.Perform walk-around inspections and return-to-service processes to ensure airworthiness.Train, coach, and mentor employees in qualified areas.Provide data to customers upon request.Troubleshoot, repair, install, inspect, and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.Perform and document work per appropriate manuals and regulations.Operate ground support equipment as required.Perform mechanical and electrical removals and installations.Assist with fuel and defuel processes, engine removal/installation, and aircraft component repair.

Essential Skills

A&P Certificate.5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience (corporate or commercial jets).Minimum of 1 year of experience work on Bombardier aircraft.At least 1 year of experience as a Quality Inspector.Ability to apply planning and problem-solving skills.Strategic thinking in decision-making.Team player with effective partnering skills.Customer orientation to meet and exceed expectations.Ability to use a variety of measuring and hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspections.Ability to operate test equipment and interpret results.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $95000.00/yr.
