JPMorgan Chase is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to join our Corporate Sector Controllers team.
 

As a Financial Controller - Vice President within Corporate Sector Controllers, you will lead and manage the financial controls supporting several Corporate Functions, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Job responsibilities: 

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate standardsManage the reconciliation and substantiation processes for the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial dataCollaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic business and financial initiatives and provide insights into financial performanceAnalyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, auditors, and regulatory bodiesDrive process improvements and efficiencies within the financial control functionProvide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to team members 

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills: 

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum of 6 years of experience in financial control, accounting, or related roles, with a strong background in the banking or financial services industryExperience with reconciliation and substantiation of the general ledgerProven track record of managing and leading high-performing teamsIn-depth knowledge of financial control processes, regulatory requirements, and accounting principlesStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in financial software and tools, including Excel and financial reporting systems
 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills: 

MBA or CPA preferred
