Description We are currently seeking a Corporate Controller for a growing company located in Cleveland, OH. This individual will be overseeing the financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax compliance, and related controls, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory standards. Main Responsibilities: + Direct the company’s accounting, treasury, and tax departments, ensuring robust internal controls. + Establish, update, and enforce accounting practices to comply with GAAP and governing regulations. + Manage the preparation, review, and delivery of timely and accurate financial statements and performance reports. + Oversee creation and administration of annual operating and capital budgets. + Partner with operations and administrative leaders to align financial planning with corporate objectives. + Act as the main contact for external auditors; deliver compliant, audit-ready documentation and processes. + Administer inventory management protocols, including accurate valuation and reporting. + Supervise tax strategy, compliance, and reporting; work with outside advisors on filings and projections. + Manage company cash flow, maintain banking relationships, and oversee liquidity planning. + Support merger and acquisition (M& A) activities by leading financial due diligence and integration efforts. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; master’s degree is a plus + Must hold an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license + At least 10 years of increasingly responsible experience in accounting or finance, including management positions + Proficient with large ERPs, SAP a plus + Exceptional analytical abilities and strong attention to detail + Outstanding verbal and written communication skills + Proven success leading and managing teams + Prefer candidates with experience in large, multi-entity, or international organizations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
