Corporate Banking Analyst – Financial Institutions Group

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking experienced Corporate Banking Analysts to join Wells Fargo’s Corporate & Investment Bank (CIB). The Analysts will join and grow one of the industry’s leading Financial Institutions practices, which covers insurance, asset management, market structure, and specialty finance companies. 

 

In this role, you will: 

Participate in structuring and executing transactions and supporting more senior staff with financial and credit analysis for assigned portfolio of loans within Financial InstitutionsWork with more senior staff to present recommendations for growing and maintaining a portfolio of profitable clients in FIG through proactive, strategic and consistent business development and client retentionResponsible for developing presentation materials for client meetings and internal discussions; may take ownership of and lead follow-up items with a client after a call; sees items through to resolution to support broader deal team/organization.Perform or guide credit underwriting work of peers in accounting for all risk factors and providing risk rating recommendationsReview and interpret credit policies and procedures and incorporate requirements into credit analysis, observations and lending recommendationsCollaborate and consult with peers, internal partners and stakeholders, including clients

 

Required Qualifications:

6+ months of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

 

Desired Qualifications:

A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics 6+ months of financial services experience in portfolio management and/or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to thoroughly analyze credits on an independent basis with high attention to detail and accuracy and communicate findings in a concise mannerAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentStrong organizational and prioritization skills and an ability to effectively multi-taskMotivated team player with strong interpersonal skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skillsStrong accounting knowledgeAn ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver resultsExperience with leading and contributing to project teams

Base Salary:

Base pay range: $100,000-110,000May be considered for a discretionary bonus, Restricted Share Rights or other long-term incentive awards

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$90,000.00 - $150,000.00
