Job Description
A global financial services client is looking for a Corporate Actions Specialist to join the team. This person will be mainly focused on implementing the notifications function for the Corporate Actions system, specifically owning the testing and assisting in the business analysis of the implemntation.
They will own the requirements, quality control, and testing lifecycle for the Broadridge Astrid Corporate Action platform rollout and subsequent releases. They will quard production readiness across Mandatory, Voluntary, Dividend, and Principal/Interest events using risk based QA, repeatable test design, and clear traceability from requirement to release.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute QA for Astrid deliverables to enable reliable Corporate Action Notification functionality and downstream processing; design test scenarios/cases, define entry/exit criteria, manage test data, and execute SIT/UAT with clear defect triage to closure.
- Sustain release continuity via predictable test cycles, regression packs, and readiness checkpoints that support timely, controlled releases.
- Translate business/operational requirements into testable acceptance criteria; maintain bidirectional traceability across stories, test cases, defects, and release notes.
- Log, severity rank, and track defects through resolution; validate fixes and prevent recurrence via regression safeguards and test case hardening.
- Produce test plans, evidence, and sign offs aligned to Asset Services control expectations and Corporate Actions desktop procedures.
- Partner with Operations SMEs, Technology, and Broadridge to clarify scope, secure environments/test data, and remove blockers while keeping release risk visible and managed.
Success Measures:
- Release quality: declining escape defect rate and zero Sev 1 production issues across release windows.
- Timeliness: on time completion of planned test cycles and sign offs per release calendar.
- Control evidence: complete, reviewable QA packages that meet Asset Services procedure and audit expectations.

Skills and Requirements
- Hands on Requirements Gathering, Quality Control, and Testing ideally across the Astrid platform (Corporate Actions vendor product).
- QA testing for ongoing deliverables necessary for successful Corporate Action Astrid Notification rollout; continuity of target deliverables to ensure timely releases.
- Knowledge of Astrid and QA best practices.
- Working knowledge of Corporate Action Asset Services processing across Mandatory, Voluntary, Dividend, and Principal/Interest events; extensive Corporate Actions experience can offset limited Astrid specific exposure.
