Caterpillar Mapleton Seals is  looking for a person to join our foundry team as a Coremaking Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating sand cores used in the metal casting process. This role requires attention to detail, and a strong willingness to train on coremaking techniques and materials while adhering to safety standards.

This role includes salary starting at $23.22/hour with periodic wage increases, healthcare insurance, employee discount programs, free employee assistance program, and more. Depending on business requirements, normal working hours will be 40 hours per week with opportunity for overtime. Don’t miss this opportunity! We also offer an additional $1.00/hour night shift premium for our 2nd and 3rd shift employees!

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Set up, operate and adjust core machinesMix sand and binders to create core materialsAssemble cores and patterns to molds and fill them with core materialsUse of JIB hoist/pallet jack to maneuver materialsUse of hand tool to complete core making processMaintain a clean and organized work area adhering to all safety policies

Required qualifications for Mapleton Seals Production Associate:

Basic knowledge of manufacturing processesGood communication skills and strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Top candidates will also have:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environmentBasic knowledge in reading and interpreting printsProficiency in Coremaking machines and using related tools

Positions available on 2nd and 3rd shifts3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am, Sunday night-Friday morningThis position does not offer relocationThis position requires no travelCandidates must be at least 18 years of agePositions are supplemental full-time
