The operator will be responsible for ensuring precision in cutting and labeling, with a focus on maintaining quality and efficiency. **Responsibilities** + Retrieve honeycomb block from storage using a forklift. + Place block on the core saw table and secure according to processing specifications. + Operate the saw to cut sheets to specified thickness. + Check sheet thickness as per instructions. + Label sheets with the required lot number using the appropriate labeling method. + Place sheets on carts or pallets for storage or shipping. + Complete production documentation and perform quality control and housekeeping activities. + Conduct routine tasks with minimal supervision, exercising some independent judgment. + Participate in operational improvement activities. **Essential Skills** + Basic assembly skills. + Saw operation proficiency. + Forklift operation capability. + Production process understanding. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Prior manufacturing experience is preferred. + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Effective oral and written communication skills. + Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments with attention to detail. + Problem-solving skills, well-organized, detail-oriented, and accurate. + Forklift operation certification may be required. + Ability to perform heavy lifting with mechanical and human assistance. **Work Environment** The role involves working with heavy machinery and requires adherence to safety protocols.
