Job Overview:
We are looking for a Networks Expert to join our IT Consulting Business Unit, specializing in network strategy, solution design, and network management systems (NMS). The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of networks, both wired and wireless, and be capable of providing expert consulting to telecom clients. This role is critical in responding to RFPs (Request for Proposals), advising clients on network transformation, automation, and AI-driven analytics, and recommending COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) solutions for network management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. RFP Response & Network Consulting
• Analyze and interpret telecom RFPs related to network infrastructure, automation, and digital transformation.
• Assess the current network landscape of telecom clients and propose improvements.
• Develop network transformation strategies, including migrating from wired to wireless networks.
• Provide recommendations for COTS network management solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
2. Network Strategy & Solution Design
• Design end-to-end network solutions, incorporating WAN, LAN, RAN, and core network architecture.
• Offer strategic consulting on network modernization, optimization, and automation.
• Develop roadmaps for network evolution, digital transformation, and AI-driven network analytics.
• Recommend best practices for integrating OSS/BSS platforms into telecom networks.
3. Network Automation & AI/Analytics Implementation
• Guide clients on network automation strategies, including SDN (Software-Defined Networking) and NFV (Network Functions Virtualization).
• Identify AI and machine learning use cases for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and network optimization.
• Implement analytics-driven insights for network performance management and fault detection.
4. Core Network Expertise & Technology Advisory
• Provide technical expertise in wired and wireless networks, including 5G, LTE, fiber optics, and enterprise networking.
• Advise on best practices for core network architecture, IP/MPLS networking, and telecom protocols.
• Stay updated on emerging telecom technologies and industry trends to support clients with future-proof solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• 10+ years of experience in network engineering, network solution design, and consulting.
• Strong expertise in network management systems (NMS), WAN, LAN, RAN, and core network concepts.
• Hands-on experience in wired and wireless network technologies is a plus.
• Proven ability to respond to RFPs, create proposals, and develop network transformation strategies.
• Experience in network automation, AI-driven analytics for network management, OSS/BSS solutions.
• Knowledge of SDN, NFV, cloud networking, and virtualization.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills for client engagement.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in IT consulting firms with telecom industry clients.
• Knowledge of AI/ML implementation in network management and analytics-driven operations.
• Familiarity with COTS network management solutions and vendor evaluation.
• Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, AWS/Azure Networking, or SDN-related certifications are a plus.
