**Job Title: Tub Cutter/Production Worker** **2nd and 3rd shift available** **Start ASAP** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our Core Cutter area. As a Core Cutter, you will operate a core cut machine, and while direct experience is not required, a mechanical inclination is beneficial. **Responsibilities** + Continuously check for print and seam quality. + Remove defective material and splice the roll web back together according to specifications. + Utilize tools such as a ruler, safety knife, and hole punch during the splicing procedure and as necessary. + Handle and palletize rolls to prevent damage. + Record and enter data on designated paperwork and in the company operation system. + Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Experience in machine operation. + Production knowledge. + Mechanically inclined. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous machine operating experience and mechanical understanding is helpful. + Ability to follow directions and work well with others, as teamwork is essential. + Strong verbal and written communication skills. + Ability to read a ruler and understand measurements. **Why Work Here?** Once you transition to a permanent position, you will enjoy a generous benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as disability and life insurance. Compensation starts at $17.50 - $19.50 per hour, with an additional $2.00 shift premium. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, Pennsylvania. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.50/hr.
