With 2023 revenues of $20\.4 billion, we are a Fortune 500 company who is committed to providing an inclusive work environment with continuous learning opportunities and development for our teams\. **GENERAL PURPOSE:** Responsible for the timely and accurate processing of hourly associates' payroll\. Responsible for processing all off\-cycle checks and researching returned checks and reissuing timely\. Obtain and maintain a working knowledge of local, state, and/or federal pay and termination regulations\. Assist with special projects as needed under the supervision of Payroll Supervisor and/or Sr\. Payroll Manager\. The base pay range for this role is $19\.52 \- $28\.17\. The base pay range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location\. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees\. Other rewards vary by position and location\. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:** • Process and balance bi\-weekly payrolls for all store hourly associates\. • Timely issuance of termination pay, adjustment pay, or retro pay, following any respective state mandates\. • Review and validate team members off cycles\. • Fund off cycle pay cards on ADP SMART Compliance site\. • Research and process stop payments\. • Research and reissue returned checks\. • Develop cross\-functional relationships with Store, Buying Office and Distribution Center personnel that interact with Payroll\. • Respond to all associate inquiries in a timely and effective manner\. • Assist on special projects as assigned\. • Remain current on existing or new payroll guidelines, processes or any legislation impacting payroll\. **COMPETENCIES:** People • Collaboration Self • Leading by Example • Communicates Effectively • Ensures Accountability and Execution • Manages Conflict Business • Plans, Aligns and Prioritizes With particular emphasis on the following specific position\-related competencies: • Accuracy and Confidentiality • Technical Competence • Results Driven Problem Solving • Peer Relationship/ Interpersonal Savvy • Integrity and Trust **QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:** • High School diploma/GED • Requires 1\-2 years of payroll experience\. • Must be able to maintain highest level of confidentiality for all associate payroll and personnel records\. • Ability to provide excellent customer service while working in a fast\-paced environment, meeting deadlines and/or mandates\. • Ability to work in a team environment\. • Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities\. • Strong written and verbal communication skills\. • Knowledge of PeopleSoft a plus\. • Strong Excel Skills and overall Microsoft suite\. **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:** Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer\. Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in\-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc\. Consistent timeliness and regular attendance\. Vision requirements: Ability to see information in print and/or electronically\. This role requires once weekly regular in\-office presence or as needed, including ability to engage in in\-person team interaction, meetings and collaboration, business partner support\.
