Job DescriptionScope of the role:
Responsible for execution of day-to-day activities within the Logistics Team, supporting us achieving operational success for one of our key customers on a constant basis.
Capable of processing shipments, track and trace, working directly with the customer and other departments in harmony, while maintaining a high standard of work and delivering excellent results.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Processing shipping requestsTrack & TraceCorrespond with the customer in person and/or through calls / emails / ticketing systemPrioritize own workload according to customers' requirementsGenerate and provide accurate & internationally compliant documents to the requestor in a timely mannerFollow-up, resolve issues and respond back to the requestor within the appropriate time frameSupport the safe and timely delivery of freight as it moves through the supply chain, report and escalate delays and incidents through established communications protocolsKeep superiors informed on all challenges and complaints, including escalation as requiredMaintain knowledge of customer policies on all aspects of product movementWork towards individual and department Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Assist with investigation and data collection for postmortem due to gap in process or incidentDevelop and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments, as well as carriers, vendors, and other service providersArticulate process improvement ideas to superiorsCreate documented process for customers when requested - Standard Operating Procedures/Standardized Work Instructions creationAll other tasks as requiredQualifications1-2 years of previous experience in Logistics and/or high volume Customer Service rolesFluent in English; Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsEffective communication skillsSelf starter and is able to work in fast-paced environmentPossesses a positive, can-do attitudeProficient with Windows and/or macOSStrong knowledge of Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of Google Applications is a plusAdditional InformationExpeditors offers excellent benefits for full time employees:
