Project Manager
Job Summary: The role of a Project Manager is to develop, plan, and manage customer projects internally as it relates to adherence and secondary packaging for this unique specialty/converting operation. Achieve high customer satisfaction effectively through and with operations, customer service, sales, and the customer.

Business Excellence
Manage and lead new product introduction and launches from conception to delivery, including order entry, supply chain and production to ensure optimum solution and level of customer focus achieved.Responsibility for delivering excellent customer service in both the development phase of a project and production phase of the manufacturing process. This is designed to deliver and facilitate growth in the adherence and secondary packaging market.Drive customers generated projects. Responsible for coordinating activities of the project team, identifying appropriate resources, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. Manage and develop documentation for internal equipment, material, and process trials.Run and compile reports from ERP system (EFI Radius and PSA) for management review.Develop job aids, process maps and Gantt charts for critical processes and projects to train department leads on new processes. Work closely with scheduling and planning teams and help manage and review production capacity and constraints. Liaison between the plant, sales, customer service, and customers on all customer related projects and new product introductions (NPI) and approvals. Host and lead weekly meetings with customers and interplant teams as per the project requirements.Develop technical competency to support customer and sales enquiries. Build technical reports using Microsoft (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) tools for team review.Support line trials and troubleshoot issues internally and at customer sites. Lead and assist with site transfer/outsource work to other plants/third party vendors or work coming in from other plants. Support pricing and directly engage Customer Service Representatives (CSR’s) in new product introduction/development. Key point of contact at the site for customer visits.Key point of contact for commercial organization for samples and information requests. Be able to find solutions to problems by being creative, adaptable, flexible, and innovativeWilling to travel to customer/vendor locations.General knowledge of associated machinery and processing.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project).Other technical tools such as VISIO, MiniTab, and AutoCad are preferred, not required.Demonstrate good time management and methodical approach to organization and project planning.Be able to work well with others and collaborate with different departments.Experience:Preferred: 2+ years of manufacturing experience in a fast-paced work environment
Education:Required: Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline (i.e engineering) or equivalent experience
