What is the opportunity?
The Coordinator, Investment Marketing is responsible for supporting marketing initiatives to drive engagement and support sales efforts, with a focus on proprietary events, marketing collateral and digital/web support. This role collaborates closely with RBC Global Asset Management (RBC GAM) distribution channels, focused on RBC advisors, as well as 3rd party advisors across Canada. As a brand ambassador, you will work with internal stakeholders and external vendors, focus on delivering great branded client experiences, managing product launches and marketing campaigns, as well as supporting digital initiatives. The role will contribute to multiple projects at once.
What will you do?
Execute and coordinate marketing support for national, regional and local events to promote RBC GAM’s brand, products and services. Working collaboratively with the RBC GAM Events teams on email invitations, on-premises branding solutions, presentation materials and various other requirements.
Create new (or update existing) marketing properties/materials. This might include digital marketing materials, PowerPoint slides, client emails, videos, and/or printed materials. You will support and manage complex work back plans, develop communications, engage various resources to guide projects to completion, obtain stakeholder input and approvals, track deliverables, report progress, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Support digital initiatives, specifically behind the advisor log-in on rbcgam.com, for the purpose of advisor skill building, education and resources for client interactions.
Promote key messages, events and content using multiple digital tools (i.e. Marketing Cloud, Stova, Chime, Seismic and other platforms).
Manage relationships with multiple stakeholders such as sales, product, digital, design, and compliance to execute on marketing initiatives.
Manage production, translation, compliance and approval process of national and regional programs and campaigns.
Keep up with investment industry news and trends and develop the ability to edit/develop product-focused content.
Analyze metrics and make recommendations to have a greater impact to the business (i.e. improve efficiency, reduce costs and/or provide a better brand experience).
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
University degree in business or marketing or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the investment industry (wealth management or asset management is a strong asset).
Sound understanding of investment products and interest in wealth/investment management topics (mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives, etc). Willingness to expand knowledge and expertise in these areas.
Understanding of marketing technology (experience with Marketing Cloud, Seismic, Wrike and/or similar project management platforms would be an asset).
Demonstrated organization, time management and project management skills.
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams to meet tight timelines and handle multiple deliverables.
Detail-oriented and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
Above average ability with Microsoft Office tools.
Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
Nice-to-have
Mutual funds licence or Canadian Securities Course.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$55,000.00 - $90,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
