Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is seeking a professional and dedicated Cook to join our culinary team to work on an as needed basis!

Flexi Status: Cafeteria is open between 5:00am - 7:30pm

Cooking and Food Service experience is required.

As a Cook, you will play a crucial role in food production, quality control, kitchen sanitation, and collaboration with our kitchen team.

Responsibilities and Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following established recipes and culinary techniques,

Ensure the quality and presentation of all food items meet the established standards,

Ensure that all operations in the kitchen comply with the food safety and sanitation standards and policies set by the chef and the state.

Education:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent - Experience in lieu of degree/diploma will be accepted.

Experience:

Cook experience required
