Job Overview

Fairview is looking for a Cook for the Southdale Campus in Edina, MN! This position offers 50 hours over a 2-week pay period on evening shift and is benefit eligible!

 

This position is responsible for preparing food items as assigned using standardized recipes to meet established standards of high quality.

 

Schedule

This position is Monday-Friday 2-7pm for week 1 and week 2

Responsibilities

Prepares food products to meet temperature and quality standards.Follows standardized recipes weighing and measuring ingredients to assure products are consistent in quality and nutritional value.Assemble food within appropriate time frames.Handle and prepare food in safe manner following HACCP standardized operating proceduresTakes and documents temperatures of food items and makes appropriate adjustments to achieve standards.Sanitizes equipment and work area per assigned schedules and designated procedure.Takes ownership for self and others in work area.Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Required Qualifications

One to three years cook experienceAbility to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing, using the English language.Basic math skills.Certified or willing to become certified for food safety

Preferred Qualifications

High School Diploma/G.E.D.
