Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled cook responsible for preparing meals for 3,000 students daily. This role involves maintaining a clean kitchen environment, adhering to food safety protocols, and assisting in food supply management.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare food for 3,000 students daily.
+ Clean the kitchen after food preparation and serving.
+ Store or discard excess food following safe handling procedures.
+ Assist in ordering and receiving food supplies.
+ Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and the student body.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in line cooking, food prep, and food service.
+ Proficiency in grill and pizza cooking with at least 2 years of experience required for higher pay.
+ Previous work in a restaurant, dining hall, or similar setting.
+ Strong customer service skills with constant interaction with students and faculty.
+ Reliability and a customer service-oriented attitude.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Flexibility for shift hours, including nights and weekends.
+ Experience in hospitality and food production.
+ Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.

Work Environment
This position is based at Plymouth State University, in the central dining hall and retail locations around campus, including Union Grill. The work environment involves interacting with students and faculty, and maintaining high standards of food service and cleanliness.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, New Hampshire.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
